Kazan, August 2024 – Max Arkhipenkov, the founder and CEO of SmartMerch, delivered a presentation at the Kazan IT Park. The event was part of the “Digital Champions School” accelerator program, which is focused on supporting startups and advancing digital technologies.
Max presented a detailed talk on “Startup Financial Model: Development and Analysis,” where he covered the essential aspects of building a financial model. His presentation highlighted the importance of forecasting revenues and expenses, analyzing operational metrics, assessing capitalization, and determining the breakeven point. These insights and tools will help participants more accurately evaluate the financial health of their projects and build long-term growth strategies.
In addition to his presentation, Max led a workshop where participants gained a deeper understanding of how to effectively design the financial structure of a business, develop a realistic budget, and create a profit and loss statement.
The “Digital Champions School” program runs until mid-September. In the final stage, teams will present their projects to experts and investors, marking a significant milestone in the development of their startups.

The “Digital Champions School” accelerator program is a regional initiative aimed at developing the innovation ecosystem and digital economy. The program includes startups developing solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, AR/VR, robotics, and other advanced technologies. Participants receive support from mentors, trackers, and access to the IT Park’s infrastructure, and upon completion of the program, they will receive state-recognized diplomas in additional professional education.
